Product and Production Engineering:
Our engineering expertise spans mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, tool engineering, and manufacturing engineering, all delivered through an ISO certified methodology.We develop the processes and specify the equipment needed to manufacture your product including the in-process and final inspection equipment.
Project Control:
Your project will be individually managed by a team of experts in their respective fields led by a dedicated Project Manager. Your Project Manager will maintain and manage all records and coordinate and disseminate information to the team – and most importantly - to you. Our project control system utilizes a phase-gate process. Each phase passes through a gate at which the scope of work, budget and timelines are examined, and approvals received prior to moving onto the next phase.
Quality Management:
All of our activities are governed by our quality management system. The three main components of our system are quality control, quality assurance, and quality improvement ensuring that all the activities necessary to produce your product are effective and efficient. By earning and maintaining ISO 9001:2008 registration, GRT-Mars affirms its commitment to a quality management system dedicated to delivering consistent high quality to our many, varied clients.
Production Control:
Our production personnel are dedicated to delivering your product on time, every time. Our system reviews data from your purchase order requirements, the production build schedule, inventory at all levels (raw, WIP, FG) and component supply lead times. At any time, the job status of a particular order can be checked including where it is in the production cycle, and the work remaining.
Purchasing:
Partnering with GRT-Mars gives you access to buying power because in addition to our factory level purchasing groups we also buy components and materials across projects and factories. This supply chain overview allows for price-advantaged supply contracts on many components beyond what can be obtained based on single project quantities alone.
Continuous Improvement Process:
Even after your product is in the market, we’re dedicated to continuous improvement by evaluating performance, quality and cost. On a regularly scheduled basis we develop re-design recommendations to improve quality or reduce cost.
On-Site Production Monitoring:
Our office in Hong Kong is an extension of our Quality Management department from which we’re relentlessly implementing continuous quality auditing and production oversight. Our Hong Kong team, providing a communication link between our manufacturing partners and our coordination teams, is a key element in our Controlled Manufacturing Process.
